Children, Divorce and the Professionals That Help
I have witnessed family and friends go through divorce. What have been most difficult are the effects it has, and is, playing on their children. There may be feelings of abandonment and anger, resentment and rebellion. Most divorces are difficult for the couple, yet alone the kids.. In some states, the divorcing couples are required to go through a parenting class to help them learn how to effectively co-parent after the divorce. Unfortunately, as good the intentions are, when there is anger from one or both of the parents, the ability to co-parent is greatly diminished.
